Gome Galily, who's on his way to becoming one of the most respected and innovative chefs in the world, has had an interesting journey to the top.
The Israeli got his first break in the culinary world from Ilan Dascal, owner of famous restaurant La Muella, and has worked in kitchens in both India and Ibiza. His second big break came from Michelin starred chef René Redzepi, of Noma fame, where he worked for a short time and honed his cookery skills. Now, Galily has temporarily left sunnier climes behind to open a pop-up restaurant at London’s L'Escargot.
